Perrysburg Families are all invited to Jacket Dash, a family fun event set for Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Walt Churchill Track at Perrysburg High School (13385 Roachton Road). The admission is free, and the races are $15 for the first race and there is a family discount of $10 for additional races. Registration will be 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, with Fun Runs and Free Carnival Games from 9-12 p.m. There will be a Superhero Costume Contest with no entry fee and the entrant doesn’t need to be a runner, and two free ¼ mile lap runs: one for Kids 10 and Under and one Superhero Costume Lap.

This event is a fundraiser the Citizens for Perrysburg Schools campaign committee is hosting in support of the Perrysburg Schools operating levy renewal that will be on the ballot November 8, 2016. The levy would stay at the same rate it is today. It is not a new tax and represents nearly 27% of the school district’s budget.
The event will feature:
- Competitive Women’s Mile (top 3 win medal) – age 15 & up
- Competitive Men’s Mile (top 3 win medal) – age 15 & up
- Competitive Girls’ Mile (top 3 win medal) – under age 15
- Competitive Boys’ Mile (top 3 win medal) – under age 15
- Golden Jacket Mile – ages 55 & up
- Slow Poke Mile – all ages

- 9-9:15- Women's Competitive Mile 15 and up
- 9:15-9:30- Women's Competitive Mile Under 15
- 9:30-9:45- Men's Competitive Mile 15 and up
- 9:45- 10- Men's Competitive Miles Under 15

- 10:20- Golden Jacket Mile
