Yard signs are being deployed this weekend. We have 36 large signs and 1,200 small yard signs. As of today we have confirmed placements for most large signs and many of the small signs. We still have small yard signs. If you would like to pick up a sign or if you would like to pick up a pack of ten signs for friends and family, just email [email protected] and we can make arrangements.

Flyers were handed out this week at four athletic events.

A large postcard mailing will be going out this coming week to a targeted list of voters based on modeling scores. More targeted mailings are coming soon.

There have been 1,271 requests for absentee ballots in the district so far. This is a huge number. Volunteer Mary Neely will send a “chaser” post card to every person who requests a ballot.

The first phone canvass will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m.

In the coming weeks, we will be looking for volunteers to make calls, go door-to-door and to greet at the polls. More information will be sent out on these volunteer opportunities soon.

Harrison Rally Day is this Saturday! The parade starts at 10 a.m. (six school district groups will be in the parade) and it will run until 5 p.m. with food, arts vendors and live entertainment. Be sure to stop by the Perrysburg Schools booth, which will be near My Daily Grind.

Please forward this message to your friends in family in the area. They will be able to sign up for yard signs, sign up to volunteer and for information about the levy. The booth will also have information about senior citizen activity passes, our alumni association, drama and athletics.

PHS’s Jazz Singers and Women's Select Choir will perform near the stage at Louisiana and Second St. at 12:45 p.m. between the first and second bands.

Please sign up for a one-hour shift at the link below to help assemble small yard signs on Wednesday, September 19 at the Commodore Building (140 E. Indiana Ave.) from 1:30-5:30 p.m. Volunteers will remove the old signs from the wires, put the new signs on, staple the bottom of the sign and bundle them in groups of 10 with nylon ties. Levy Volunteers,

As the chair of letter writing, I have reached out to a variety of citizens to write letters either supporting the levy or simply praising our school system. I would like to extend the same invitation to you. If some of you would like to write a pro-levy or pro-schools letter, please do and email the letter to me at [email protected]  by September 20th. Please do not feel obligated but I certainly didn't want to exclude you from voicing your opinion in The Messenger.

We are in need of one volunteer per game listed at the following link to arrive about 30 minutes before the listed start time to hand out levy literature as people enter the venue.
